Makasi on the left doesn't have a clue whether to commit further forward or hang back, atrocious.I don't think the U23's play this formation.

We keep the ball well but as usual haven't a clue in the final third, was that one attempt on goal and that went wide

6 youngsters but its the senior players that are letting them down. Namely Cresswell, Collins and Noble, improved when noble was replaced.

It's obviously very early days, and this is only a friendly. But as Bilic's tenure has progressed the players have looked increasingly disorganised confused in our tactics and line up. The creativity is non existent other than individual brilliance and the movement is consistently poor. I'm beginning to wonder if his first season of amazing results may have been a combination of the discipline and organisation instilled by Allardyce and the creative freedom given to the team by Bilic.
Now two years have passed and the after effects of Allardyce have gone and Bilic has the sole responsibility to install both creativity and defensive organisation. I like the idea of Bilic and am absolutely not making a snap judgment on a friendly where we are playing a reserve/youth team, but his tactical awareness, man management and organisation skills are becoming increasingly concerning. I imagine Sullivan is thinking something similar otherwise he would have been offered a new contract.

Re: Streams for Werder Bremen

Last preseason was just the same, all the passion and energy and movement came from the kids and once they were left out the lethargy set in and remained all year. Can't wait to see Arnautovic go down the same transformation route as Snodgrass, don't forget he was Hull's best player when we signed him

Actually I can't work out if Arnautovic is playing central or just constantly floating across. Has to be an option though surely?
